RIVERSIDE ADULT TENNIS BOX LEAGUES 2008

For those members that are interested in keeping their competitive edge, then these are perfect for you regardless of age or ability.

What is the competition?
We will be hosting 3 types of competition to be played in box league format:

• MENS SINGLES
• LADIES SINGLES
• MIXED DOUBLES

How long are the matches?
Each competition will consist of 6 players (or pairs) who play matches against each of the opponents within their box. At the end of the particular playing phase, the top 2 players (or pairs) move up and the bottom 2 move down, based on the total number of games won during each phase.

There is also a grand prix competition or the “champions race” which is based on an accumulation of games played throughout all the playing phases for which there are prizes, dates of which are listed below:

• PP1- Mon 19 May-Sun  13 July (8 weeks, 1 week half-term)
• PP2- Mon 8 September-Sunday 26 Oct (7 weeks)
• PP3- Mon 3 November-Sunday 21 Dec (7 weeks)

Is there a cost?
There is a one off administrative fee of £10 payable for this year, which will be debited from your member account on or after June 1st.
