What Is Shukokai Karate? Shukokai Karate is a very progressive style which teaches a pupil to strike an opponent with their body weight. Regardless of size, Shukokai has something to offer you. It also incorporates many locks, throws, escape moves and pressure point striking which is ideal for ladies self defence.
Method Of Instruction: Robin instructs in a firm but gentle manner emphasising self-discipline and hard work. Students advance at their own pace and not in comparison to others. A student who is slow may be rewarded for his or her endeavour, in the same way as a more nimble team-mate may be rewarded for speed and ability.
Good manners, self discipline and respect for parents and teachers is encouraged in Robin’s method of instruction.
Dress Code: Children should wear appropriate clothing for karate sessions. Correct karate attire can be ordered through the karate teacher. New students should wear a T-shirt and jogging pants to their first class.
